Well, I haven't written on my blog in awhile. Sorry to all you dedicated readers. Anyway, my summer is going pretty good. I'm am working at Thayer's Painting & Wallcovering for the second year. An unfortunate event took place about a week and a half ago. I received two tickets at once on the way to my friends house. It stunk. I felt so stupid sitting there with the cars going by me. Oh well. I have to go to court on July 27 so that should be a blast. Anyway, I hope someone will read my blog again. Sorry I haven't posted for a long time.

This past week Indiana's head basketball coach Mike Davis made the decision to resign from the head coaching position. I feel that this will be a good change for the Hoosiers. Even though Davis has done a pretty good job, I think it is time for a change. I would like to point out that the Hoosiers won against Penn State even when their coach had just resigned a few days earlier. I believe that the team will grow to be an even better group of basketball players.

Olympic Disapointment

Most people in the United States look forward to the winter and the summer Olympics. The excitement was shown very much this year with the spotlight almost totally on Bode Miller. This guy is an idiot. He talks like he is awesome but yet has not even received a medal yet. Personally, I think that the US should be winning everything since we know more about everything than everyone else. Bode Miller needs to stop boasting and start winning--what a novel idea!--. Go USA

Rush or Dreamtheater

Recently I have been listening to some of the best drum and bass playing. I have listened to the bands Rush and Dreamtheater. Both of these bands are awesome. The drummers and the bassists are some of the best that I have ever heard. But which is better?? Dreamtheater or Rush? I guess they are a tie for me.

I was watching TV the other day and I stumbled upon a vehicle program. It was a British man who was test driving this amazing vehicle. I learned that if you get the best model it is $212,000. The engine is hand made and includes the signatures of the two people who built it. This of course makes the vehicle itself very nice. The Ford GT has a top speed of 212 mph. The engine is in the back rather than in the front. The engine is kinda similar to a Ford F150 engine. Although there are only 28 of these cars in circulation, I advise everyone to buy one as soon as possible.

Oh the Pacers

It has been an up and down season this year for the Pacers. Today I was watching them play San Antonio. For a minute I thought that they could pull it off but as it has been all year the lossed. I am happy though that they got rid of Ron Artest. He was a disgrace to the Pacer uniform. The really long-named player that replaced him is a whole lot better. I hope that the Pacers can pull their season together before playoffs. If only we still had Reggie!!

The Simpsons

Have you ever taken the opportunity to watch the Simpsons. It is one of the best television shows out there. Homer's sense of stupidity brings to life the overwhelmingly funny show. My favorite episodes include the ones where Duffman saves the day. Duffman can quench any thirst just with a refreshing Duff Brew. As Duffman would say, "Ha, ha, DUFF YOU, " and also "Gotta have that smooth, smooth taste of refreshing Duff Brew, Oh Yeah." LONG LIVE THE SIMPSONS

Missouri Trip

I arrived in Springfield, MO on Saturday. So far it has been a great time. We have enjoyed shopping and i really have enjoyed playing Halo 2 on my friend JP's XBOX 360. We also went to the largest Bass Pro Shop. That place is so awesome.It has been great. Today we are going to go to Branson, MO to look around at some outlet malls. We are staying at my brother and sister-in-law's appartment. They had to leave unfortunately because of a death in my sister-in-law's family. It has been fun and i can wait to come home.

The Steelers Won??

On Sunday night the Pittsburgh Steelers won the Super Bowl. Now I personally wanted the Colts to win the Super Bowl but they screwed up their chance to be in the big dance. My favorite play of the Super Bowl was when Antwaan Randle El threw to Heinz Ward for the TD. It was my favorite play because Antwaan Randle El used to be the QB of the Indiana Hoosiers.--One of my favorite college teams-- The Super Bowl was great. No one expected the Seahawks to come out short but it was just not their night for shining.
